Our FAQs aim to provide answers to common questions and concerns that teachers & parents may have about our services. Are there lifeguards on duty at the pools?
There is always a fully qualified lifeguard at poolside, plus representatives from Spanish Star.

Can the chalets be locked from the inside?
All the chalets are completely lockable from the inside and in case of emergency there is a master key that is available to the group leader.

Is there first aid available on site?
Not only is there a First Aid area but also the majority of staff on site are First Aid trained which includes all the lifeguards. There is also a doctor on 24-hour call.

How often will a representative from Spanish Star be with us?
Spanish Star will be with the group from the time that you land in Barcelona to the minute that you leave, 24-hour support.

Who will write the Risk Assessments?
Spanish Star will send you a full complement of ‘Risk Assessments’, which cover every area of the trip. You may wish to use these or complete your own generic assessments.

Is there security on site?
There is 24-hour security on site and it is impossible to enter the site or leave the site without the appropriate documentation.

Do we have any form of insurance cover?
Spanish Star has full company liability insurance. We also provide a comprehensive travel/medical insurance for every person in the group, which also includes COVID cover.
Can we choose the places to visit ourselves?
Our service is ‘Needs Based’ which means that you tell us your requirements and we arrange the visits to suit your individual needs.

Does the restaurant cater for vegetarians, vegans etc?
We have often been complimented on the variety and standard of our restaurant. In addition we have always been more than capable of catering for peoples individual needs that also include Diabetics, Coeliac, Vegan and Vegetarian.

What does the educational trip include?
Absolutely everything, there are no extra hidden costs or supplements for trips. The students will only need their pocket money for ice creams and presents for the family.

Can we organize a pre visit to the site with Spanish Star?
We welcome pre-visits to our site for teachers, just contact us to make an arrangement.
