At Spanish Star, we are dedicated to ensure that our clients have the most enjoyable and memorable travel experience possible. Our terms and conditions are designed to provide clear guidelines for booking and traveling with us. We encourage you to read through our policies before making your next travel plans. We have also attached some useful links below for you to take a look.

Prices
In order that we can meet your individual needs, each trip is quoted on an individual basis. Always maintaining our policy of the highest quality and value for money.

Meals
Breakfast, Picnic Lunch and an evening meal will be provided. Any other requirements for snacking outside of the normal meal times is down to each individual and under the supervision of the group leaders. A starter pack will be provided in each chalet, which will include a large bottle of water, a juice and a snack for each and every Student/Teacher. Again, it is up to the group
leaders to ensure that the students have an ample supply of bottled water during their stay, extra water can be purchased at the on site supermarket.

Special Dietary Needs
We cater for all and have a marvellous kitchen that produces a wonderful varied & healthy diet for
everybody.

Travel (UK & Ireland only)
All travel arrangements will be organised by Spanish Star, you will only need to make sure that you arrive in plenty of time at the UK airport to catch your flight. Your only extra responsibility would
be to arrange your own transport for the journey to and from the airport for the UK part of your trip.

Travel/Medical/Covid 19 Insurance
We also include a comprehensive Travel insurance for all our clients. This includes Covid 19 Cover. On
request we will send you a summary sheet of the insurance cover. This applies to UK schools only
Schools outside of the UK will need to organise their own Travel/Medical insurance.

Please note:
When you book an educational trip with us, we will also include a complete ‘Risk Assessment’ folder.

Age of Students
Prices are for School groups from 8 to 18 years of age.
​
Behaviour
When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by any member of your party. We expect all clients to have consideration for
other people and property. If it is deemed by Spanish Star that any member of your group have
behaved in such a way as to cause harm, upset or distress to a third party or damage to their property,
we are entitled, without prior notice, to terminate the trip of the person(s) concerned. No refund
will be made and you will be charged for the special trip home.

Documentation
​
All passenger will need a current passport.
​
Passports
Your passport must be:
1/ Issued less than 10 years before the date you enter the country (check the ‘date of issue’)
2/ Valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Full details of passports must be with Spanish Star at least 6 weeks prior to departure
Details must be correct, Spanish Star will not take any responsibility for incorrect passport details.
Tour Itinerary
We will develop a programme to suit the needs of the students. Taking into consideration their
ages and level of knowledge and skills.

Free Places
Allocation for teachers travelling in a supervisory role are: 1 free teacher place for every 10 students booked.
Note: It is a legal requirement for at least 1-10 ratio adult to students.

Our Prices include
This cost completely includes flights and all travel whilst in Spain, educational visits, accommodation, food and entertainment. The only money that the students may wish to bring would be pocket money for presents and ice creams!

Making Your Booking
Any booking will only be confirmed when Spanish Star has received the Passenger List and Deposit Payment, which is 33% of the total Cost.

Timings
You may have pencilled-in your proposed dates with Spanish Star up to 1 year in advance. However we require the 1st Deposit and passenger list at least 9 months prior to departure date. This is so that we can secure the flights at the airport of your preferred choice. If the passenger List and Deposit is received any later than 9 months prior to departure dates, we cannot guarantee the airport of
your preferred choice.

Accommodation
We use modern Chalets and Static Homes in the wonderful private setting of Vilanova Park. Just 30 minutes south of Barcelona in the picturesque Fishing Town of Vilanova I La Geltru.
We also offer apartments at Atenea Park, close to Vilanova Beach and Town Centre. A representative from Spanish Star will be with the school group at all times so that you have 24 hour support.

CANCELLATION
Should you need to cancel your trip after confirmation, you must notify Spanish Star in writing immediately (email accepted)
The following charges will apply and will
be for any individual or the whole group booking.

Time period=Cancellation Charge
56 days or more = Deposit
22 to 55 days = 50% of total Cost
0 to 21 Days = 100% of Total Cost

Changes by You
Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed Trip, you must notify Spanish Star at your earliest. If you need to change a passenger on the
trip there will be a minimum charge of £110 plus any extra charged that the airline may apply.

PAYMENT
In order to confirm your trip with Spanish Star a deposit of 33% of the total cost is required 9 months prior to travel dates. The balance of the payments must be with Spanish Star no later than 6 weeks
prior to Departure Date.

There are no hidden extras/charges or last minute surprises or invoices. We believe in supplying you and your students with a totally inclusive package.
